Went very well.  We had a great turn out with lots of professionals.  Thanks to everyone that helped out with this.
June 27th Buckley Parade
Type 6 Engine in Parade
Dick, Angel, Megan, John, Angie, Sean, and Corey all had a great time handing out candy to all the spectators.
July 18th Wilkeson Centennial & National Handcar Races
Dick, Angel, Dave, and John Had a great time and great weather handing out candy.
July 18th Wilderness Survival Class
All had a great time (except that they all got stung by the bees) I guess this is part of surviving the wild.

July 24th Raking Party
@ Keta Creek Hatchery.  Cleaning of the big salmon ponds.  Lunch was provided to all that came and helped.
Nancy Lemoine, Eric Gustafson, and Vandy Black from GRCC were there to help with the cleaning of the pond.  Thank you all for representing GRCC!!

Aug 8th Morton Loggers Jubilee Parade
leave GRCC at 7:00 am
with the 1978 Chev Type 3 Engine that Betty & John’s crew have restored
Aug 8th Wilderness Survival Class
The class asked about foraging, so at the end of the day they were all showed how to find grubs, and they all got to try one!!
Aug 8th Auburn Good Ol' Days Parade
leave GRCC at 10:00 am with a 1945 Willys Jeep operated by Tyler Traweek (Class of 2006).  Angie has the sign-up sheet for this one.
Sept 10th Puyallup Fair
Biomass Display to be set up Leave GRCC @ 7:30am back by 10:00am
Sept 11th-Sept 27th Puyallup Fair
SAF booth with the Biomass display needs staffing. 
The fair has been a great success, Thank you to all that helped out!!!

Sept 12th Hoquiam Loggers Playday & Parade
Leave GRCC @ 7am with the old Chev Type 3 engine.  Yes it is ready for parades!!!!
We took first place, Way to go John, Tess and Dakota!!!!
Sept 17th Welcome Day for new students!!!
9:30am-2:00pm.
Welcome day was a lot of fun.  We had a tent out and a fire burning.
Sept 28th-Oct 4th SAF National Convention 
In Orlando Florida.
Mike Farnum, Tess Pinkney, Shaunna Harris, Phil Hansen and Paula Kaiser participated in the quiz bowl.  They all did fabulous!!!!
We took second for national student chapter of the year and second in website design.  Way to go GRCC!!!
 Oct 8th  SAF and Forestry club meeting
Shaunna Harris was nominated for secretary, and Shannon was nominated for treasurer.
